Description
1. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) is soliciting quotes to competitively award a firm, fixed price Purchase Order for Brand Name InforsHT Multitron Pro. The delivery date for this requirement will be 60 days after award. 2. The proposed acquisition is a total small business set-aside. Quotes received from other than small business concerns will not be considered. The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the business size standard is 1,000 employees. 3. Brand name: This requirement requires a InforsHT Multitron Pro shaking incubator system with the following requirements: 1) The shakers must have the capacity to hold 13 2L flasks (or 8 x 4.0L, 48 x 250mL) in a 42" wide footprint. 2) The shaker must have a built in platform with an adhesive mat tray. 3) The shakers must be compatible with existing InforsHT/ATR mutlitron shakers in a structural biology group, such that shaking racks and clamps can be readily substituted and interchanged. This unit will be stacked upon an existing unit and must have an orbital shaker with built in adhesive mat trays. 3. All responsible sources capable of meeting NIEHS' requirement, as stated within the Request for Quotes (RFQ) and identified acceptable may submit a quote, which, if received by the response date of this announcement, shall be considered. 4. Prospective sources are reminded that an award can only be made to a Contractor who is registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in accordance with FAR 4.11. 5. Submission of Quotes: Quotes shall be forwarded to Ms. Teresa McCall via email to: teresa.mccall@nih.gov by June 27, 2016, 4:30 PM EDT. Facsimile or hard copies of submissions will not be accepted. 6. Any questions regarding this Solicitation should be directed via e-mail to Ms. Teresa McCall at teresa.mccall@nih. The deadline for the submittal of all questions is 12:00 p.m. on June 24, 2016.
