- Description
- This is NOT a Request for Proposal; it is Market Research to assess whether or not competition is viable for the Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (C4ISR) Systems Operations, Installation, Logistics, Training, Maintenance, and Related Sustainment Support for Elevated Sensor Systems. This request for information is hereby considered Market Research, and does not obligate the Government in any way, nor does it commit the Government to any specific course of action. The costs in preparing the ROM and the schedule will NOT be reimbursed, and you are advised to consider this in your replies. The Contractor shall provide systems maintenance and repair, installation, training, operator personnel, engineering, and logistics support for a wide variety of C4ISR Systems, Line Replaceable Unit (LRU), and components. Unless otherwise specified, maintenance support shall be at the "sustainment level," as defined in AR 750-1 (Arm y Materiel Maintenance Policy) and appropriate technical manuals / other specified references. Additional systems, Line Replaceable Units (LRUs) and components shall be added as newly developed equipment and technology advances. For any such additions, the Contractor will first review the requirement and provide estimated additional costs for completion. The Primary Elevated Sensor systems supported through this Task Order shall be Base Expeditionary Targeting and Surveillance Systems-Combined (BETSS-C) and Rapid Aerostat Initial Deployment (RAID). This requirement entails a Period of Performance increase to S3 Task Order (W15P7T-06-D-E403, Task Order KZ01). The increase in PoP is by five (5) months, with an estimated start date of 8 SEPTEMBER 2016. There will NOT be a transition period for this requirement. The Contractor has to be up and running; ready to produce by the 8 SEPTEMBER 2016 date. Please follow the steps outlined below for your response: 1. Provide your notice of interest via email to lorin.f.dashiell.civ@mail.mil within five (5) days of this announcement (no later than 1500 EST to APG, MD on 27 JUNE 2016). 2. If your organization is not the incumbent and does have an interest, please provide a Rough-Order Magnitude (ROM) and a realistic schedule of performance via FedBizOps within five (5) days of this announcement (no later than 1500 EST to APG, MD on 27 JUNE 2016). Any ROM and schedule received shall be evaluated by the Government Task Leader or COR to aid in the determination of the best course of action for the Government.
