Description

Pre-Solicitation Notice to solicit for a contractor to provide Courier and Delivery Services to and from the VA Medical Center Providence, surrounding Community Based Outpatient Clinics (CBOCs) in Hyannis and New Bedford, MA and other local sites. This is not a solicitation. The Department of Veterans Affairs intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Priced Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA) for a 12 month base plus (4) annual option years to obtain local Courier and Delivery Services for various locations in Rhode Island and Massachusetts to commence on or about October 1, 2016. The overall goal is to meet the VA Providence mission requirement by transporting specific items for the laboratory services department and the hospital in a timely and professional manner for the aforementioned locations in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS) that will be included with the Solicitation. The solicitation will be issued as a Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) set aside on or about 6/27/2016. The applicable NAICS code is 492110 with a 1,500 Employee Size Standard. The FSC/PSC is R602. Interested VOSBs or SDVOSBs must be actively verified and registered at www.va.gov/osdbu, previously www.vetbiz.gov in order to be considered for an award. Copies of the solicitation will not be available for mailing. All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of the contract.
