Description
Hardware Specification Statement of Requirements SOURCES SOUGHT The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division (NAWCWD) at China Lake CA is seeking qualified vendors to provide file server replacement hardware, quantity 33 each. The units must meet the attached Statement of Requirements and Specifications. Delivery shall be no later than 30 November 2016. The solicitation or Request for Proposal (RFP) will be posted on the FEDBIZOPPS website at http://www.fbo.gov/ on or about 5 July 2016. All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/. Written responses shall be submitted by e-mail to Sue.casey@navy.mil. DISCLAIMER: THIS SOURCES SOUGHT IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL. IT DOES NOT CONSTITUTE A SOLICITATION AND SHALL NOT BE CONSTRUED AS A COMMITMENT BY THE GOVERNMENT. RESPONSES IN ANY FORM ARE NOT OFFERS AND THE GOVERNMENT IS UNDER NO OBLIGATION TO AWARD A CONTRACT AS A RESULT OF THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. NO FUNDS ARE AVAILABLE TO PAY FOR PREPRATION OF RESPONSES TO THIS ANNOUNCEMENT. BACKGROUND: This requirement is for 33 customized Servers for use within the Virtual User Environment (VUE) Suite. The VUE runs on Hewett-Packard NetTop, which is a NSA security enhanced virtual machine (VM) platform. Each VM simulates a Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) computer. The VUE Suite provides a complete, multi-level mission planning system which allows all related tasks to take place from convenience of a single workstation (VUE Client) or JMPS laptop. REQUIREMENTS: Refer to the attached Statement of Requirements and Hardware Specification. The contract type will be commerial Firm-Fixed-Price. Required delivery 30 November 2016 or sooner. SUBMISSION DETAILS: Interested businesses should submit a breif capabilities statement package (no more than ten 8.5 X 11 inch pages in length, 12 point font) demonstrating ability to deliver the Servers listed in the Statement of Requirements and Hardware Specifications. This documentation must address, at a minimum, the following: 1. Title of Statement of Requirements you are submitting a capabilities statement package to. 2. Company Name, Company Addtess, Point-of Contract (POC) name, phone number, fax number, and e-mail address. 3. In your response, please include Company Size (Small or large according to NAICS and size standard listed); If your company is a Small Business, specify if your compay is or is not each of the following: (a) Service Disapble Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB); (b) HUBZone Small Business; (c) 8(a) Concern; (d) Woman-Owned Small Business; or (d) Economically Disadvantaged Small Business. 4. Prior or current corporate experience fulfilling requirements of similar size and scope within the last three years, include contract number, organization supported, indication of whether served as a prime or subcontractor, contact values, Government POC with current telephone number, a brief description of how the contract referenced relates to the products in the Statement of Requirements and Hardware Specifications. 5. Company profile to include number of employees, annual revenue, office location(s), CAGE code, and DUNs number. 6. Resources available such as corporate management. 7. Management approach to customizing and delivering Servers in accordance with Statement of Requirements and Hardware Specifications. 8. The contractor's technical ability or potential approach to achieving technical ability specified in the Statement of Requirements and Hardware Specifications. 9. The contractor's approach to customizing 33 Servers in accordance with the Statement of Requirments and Hardware Specifications and meeting delivery schedule.. The capabilities statement package shall be submitted by e-mail to the Contraft Specialist (CS), Sue Casey at sue.casey@navy.mil no later than 10:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time 28 June 2016.
