- Description
- Amendment 0006, to Solicitation TIRSE-16-R-00001. Amendment 0006, to Solicitation TIRSE-16-R-00001. SUBJECT: Amendment 0006 to Solicitation No. TIRSE16-R-00001 1. Amendment 0006 is issued to: a. Renumber page numbers on attachments 1 - 3; b. Revise paragraph IIH of the Solicitation; c. Respond to questions from industry; d. Revise and replace the Schedule of Services and Prices; e. Revise the due date for Past Performance Questionnaires; and f. extend the proposal due date. 2. Specifics regarding paragraphs 1a - 1e are as follows: a. Page numbers on attachments 1 - 3 are re-numbered as follows: A header has been added to the upper right corner of each attachment indicating the attachment number and the page number of the respective attachment. The page number in the lower right corner has been removed. b. Paragraph IIH of the Solicitation has been revised to remove solicitation provision language and to clarify when the Preventive Maintenance and Remedial Maintenance reports, logs, and inspections will be due to the Contracting Officer Representative and Project Manager. Revisions are made in the revised solicitation attached. c. The Government's response to Industry Questions: 1. We are currently reporting the following project. May I have the name of the awarded contractor and the awarded amount? If not yet available, do you have an anticipated date this information will be released, and will it be posted to FBO or the Agency's website? The Government's response to Question 1: Award has not yet been made. The solicitation is currently posted on The Federal Business Opportunities website as TIRSE16R00001. 2. I have two quick questions. The first is if you could please provide serial numbers for the equipment. The second is what is the emergency response time you are looking for? 8 hour? The Government's response to Question 2: a. Serial numbers are included on the revised Schedule of Services and Prices. See amendment 5 and attached revised schedule. b. See paragraph IIF3b, Emergency Repairs. The standardized emergency request response time to address the corrective repair of the UPS system shall be within 24 hours after being contacted by the COR. 3. I am reviewing the addendum, and had a question about a particular unit. Can you please clarify if the unit at 2385 Chamblee Tucker Road, Chamblee, GA SG is 1000KVA. On one document it states it is 100KVA with 40 batteries, and on the pricing sheet it states it is 1000KVA with 40 batteries. My guess is that it is a 100KVA. But can you please confirm so I can make sure we price this accurately. The Government's response to Question 3: The 100KVA with 40 batteries is the correct uninterrupted power supply system. The equipment identified on the Schedule of Services and Prices under preventive maintenance (0003A, 1003A, and 2003A) located at 2385 Chamblee Tucker Road, Chamblee, GA, containing S/N P01003507A356N is corrected to reflect GE 100 KVA UPS System with 40 Batteries - 12FLX370. 4. The amendment 0003, in part, has: e. make revisions to the Schedule of Services and Prices. Because of this revision, the line items for Remedial Maintenance are blacked out. Whereas before we were able to put pricing in those boxes. The Government's response to Question 4: Lines for remedial maintenance have been revised as follows: A separate line has been added for the proposed hourly rate, FOR EVALUATION PURPOSES ONLY, for an electrician for 16 hours. Indicate the unit price. For purposes of evaluation, the total will be included with the totals for preventive maintenance. Two rows have been added, for insertion of proposed labor category(ies) to be used in performance of services under the resultant contract. Indicate the hourly rate in the respective column for each proposed category. If more than two categories are being proposed, insert additional rows in the spreadsheet to include additional labor categories and rates. The revised Schedule of Services and Prices is attached. 5. Can you please clarify where or how we are supposed to list the Remedial Maintenance pricing? The Government's response to Question 5: Pricing for Remedial Maintenance is to be added under the additional rows that have been added to each line for remedial maintenance on the Schedule of Services and Prices. For clarity, additional line items have been added to the schedule. Indicate the hourly rate in the respective column for each proposed category. If more than two categories are being proposed, insert additional rows in the spreadsheet to include additional labor categories and rates. The revised Schedule of Services and Prices is attached. 6. Can you please tell me if the subject solicitation has been awarded? And if so which vendor? The Government's response to Question 6: Solicitation TIRSE16R00001 has not been awarded and will close on June 28, 2016. See item e below. The anticipated award date is July 18, 2016. 7. Can you please provide serial numbers of all UPS. It will be nice to get like a table with Make/Model #/Serial number of all UPS. The Government's response to Question 7: The serial numbers have been added to the revised Schedule of Services and Prices. 8. Do you plan to provide an updated excel document for pricing or are you expecting the PDF be printed out and manually entered? The Government's response to Question 8: An updated excel document for the Schedule of Services and Prices is attached. See item d below. d. The Schedule of Services and Prices has been revised as follows: (1) Headings have been reformatted for a clearer distinction; (2) Additional rows have been added to make a clear distinction between pricing for evaluation purposes only and pricing for rates to be included the resultant contract. Two rows have been included for insertion of proposed labor categories to be included in the resultant contract. Offerors are advised to add rows as needed for additional labor categories and rates. (3) For convenience, formulas have been added to the total column. Offerors will need to input the quantity, unit of issue and unit prices. Totals will automatically calculate. (4) Areas where no information is to be provided by the offeror have been blacked out. (5) Added a place at the end of the spreadsheet for subtotals and a grand total. Note: There is no need for offerors to complete information in this area. Formulas are included in the spreadsheet in order that this information is auto populated from the respective part of the spreadsheet. The revised schedule containing all changes as of this amendment is attached. e. The due date for Past Performance Questionnaires has been extended to close of business, June 28, 2016. See the revised date on Attachment 3 of the solicitation. f. The proposal due date is extended to close of business, June 28, 2016. 3. The amended solicitation as of Amendment 0006, containing these changes, is attached.
