- The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to procure •Voloom software, Quantity 1 each, is an automated easy-to-use solution for volume reconstruction from whole slide scanner images of any size. This tool enables automatic section detection, automatic alignment with an option for manual adjustment, and exporting the aligned volume as an Imaris (.ims) file for further quantitation in Imaris (optional add-on). It can handle the following file formats:.mrxs (3DHISTECH), ndp (Hamamatsu),.nd2 (Nikon),.scn (Leica), and.svs (Aperio). One year of maintenance (upgrades, updates, technical and application support) is included. •Imaris 8.3 C1 software, Quantity 1 each. The package consists of one set of node-locked licenses for Imaris and each of the following modules: MeasurementPro, ImarisTrack, ImarisColoc, ImarisXT, ImarisCell, and ImarisVantage. It is ideally suited for researchers who need a broad range of functionality to study cells and tissue on a single dedicated workstation. Includes 1 year of maintenance. Any other similar product would result in changes to the existing experiment. This will be a firm fixed price contract in accordance with the statutory authority for this sole source requirement 41 U.S.C. 253 (c) (1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1 only one source available, no substitutions possible. All responsible sources who feel that they can meet these requirements shall submit an offer that will be considered by the Agency. A determination not to compete this requirement, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Offers must be submitted no later than 5:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time Tuesday, July 5, 2016 through the U.S. Postal Service at the address of NIH/NIAID/AMOB, 5601 Fishers Lane, Room 3A55, MSC 9822, Rockville, MD, 20852-9822.
