Description

NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs, Acquisition Business Service, 425 I Street NW, Washington DC, intends to award a sole-source Purchase Order to National Contract Management Association (NCMA), 21740 Beaumeade Circle, Suite 125, Ashburn, VA 20147. It will be a Firm-Fixed Price Purchase Order commencing on July, 24, 2016 through July 27, 2016 for training participation at the NCMA World Congress 2016. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals or a solicitation for offers. However, parties interested in responding to this notice shall submit a technical data, including cost information, sufficient to determine capability in providing the same training to Joan Dixon, Contract Specialist, at Joan.Dixon@va.gov by July 1, 2016 at 12:00 PM EDT. All capability statements received by closing of this notification will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. This acquisition is being conducted under simplified acquisition procedures. There are no set-aside restrictions for this requirement unless responses received dictate otherwise. The intended procurement will be classified under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) 611430 with a Small Business Size Standard of $11 Million dollars. This is for informational purposes only and not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. Any information submitted for this notice of intent is voluntary.
