Description
The USDA Forest Service (FS) is seeking sources that can provide one to two aircraft for flight services utilizing fully functional turbine-powered airplanes, operated and maintained by qualified personnel and equipped to meet specifications in support of Federal programs. The type of services required to be performed are air transportation of personnel, equipment, and supplies as directed by the Government. Flights are normally point-to-point flights for the purpose of picking up and/or delivering firefighting crews to Government identified locations. A typical firefighting crew consists of twenty (20) people. The aircraft must be capable of transporting a minimum of three (3) crews or sixty-one (61) passengers up to a maximum of one hundred twenty (120) passengers. Each passenger will carrying gear weighing approximately sixty-five (65) pounds. Interested parties must be certified as a 14 CFR Part 121 Carrier or meet the requirements of 14 CFR 125 for aircraft, flight crew etc. Parties must be DOD Air Mobility Command Certified. This anticipated contract period will be for a one (1) base year with four (4) one year option years. Interested vendors are requested to provide the following: 1 Company Name, point of contact including phone number, physical and e-mail address. 2. Size status and/or SBA certification program of the company. 3. CAGE Code for the company. 4. Positive statement of interest to submit a proposal 5. Provide a timeline for activation once a resource order notification is received. (How long to launch) 5. Provide cost estimate for a Mandatory Availability Period of 90 days, 110 day and 120 day. Each estimate should include both Boise, ID as a host base and the Vendors home base as a host base.
