Description

NOTE: This procurement will be issued Small Businesses only through commercial acquisition procedures. The Gulf Coast Veterans Healthcare System (GCVHCS) will be issuing a solicitation for non-emergent ambulance transport services for the Mobile, Alabama Outpatient Clinic for the period of Oct 1, 2016 through September 30, 2017 with four (4) each 12-month option periods. The NAICS code is 621910 and the Small Business Size Standard is $15.0 million. The solicitation will be issued on or around July 11, 2016. Potential offerors may obtain a copy of the solicitation VA256-16-Q-0871 and related documents on-line at https://www.fbo.gov/ when it becomes available on or around July 11, 2016. The contractor must demonstrate with supporting documentation that they are capable of providing all management, tools, supplies, equipment, facilities, labor, transportation and all applicable licenses and permits necessary to provide non-emergent ambulance transport services in accordance with the VA requirements and any other applicable Federal, State, or Local Regulations, Laws, Ordinances, etc., for ambulance operations within the mileage threshold area. The mileage threshold for this requirement is defined as the area within the entire county lines of Baldwin, Clarke, Mobile and Washington counties of Alabama. The contractor shall be capable of providing all ALS and BLS ground ambulance transport services for Veteran beneficiaries 365 days a year, 24-hours a day. The contractor must be capable of being on-site at the designated pick-up point within 60 minutes of notification for transport services within the designated mileage threshold area.
