- Answers to questions regarding this solicitation. ***Please note the proposal due date has been extended to 12:00pm (PST) on Wednesday, 13 July 2016. A Revised SOW is being worked and is intended to be posted on the week of 27 June 2016. A new deadline to submit questions as a result of the new Revised SOW that will be posted is 12:00pm (PST) on Wednesday, 06 July 2016. Answers to those questions will be posted by Thursday, 07 July 2016.*** This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside Acquisition. Solicitation is FA9301-16-M-D006 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This is a request for quote (RFQ). This solicitation uses the simplified acquisition procedures contained in Part 13. All responsible sources may submit a firm-fixed price (FFP) quote which shall be considered by the agency. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-86 (effective 16 May 2016) and DFARs Change Notice (DPN) 20151230 (effective 10 May 2016), AFAC 2015-1001 (effective 03 June 2016). The Government intends to award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer is the lowest priced, technically acceptable. NAICS is 332321, Metal Window and Door Manufacturing with a small business size standard of 750 employees. FSC code is 5680. The Air Force Test Center (AFTC), Directorate of Contracting, Edwards AFB, CA is seeking potential sources capable of providing the requirement identified in the next paragraph. This is an "All or None" acquisition, incomplete quotes will not be considered. Quotes shall state delivery time as estimated from after receipt of order (ARO). Requirement: Furnish and install Four (4) 16'x16' and Three (3) 15'x16' Ribbed Insulated Steel Sectional Doors. Doors will be painted to match existing door. This is a complete turn-key installation, including take down and dispose of existing 7 Overhead Coiling Service Doors, running all power wires and conduit, and supplying a forklift and man lift. See attached Statement of Work dated 24 May 2016 for all detailed requirements. Evaluation of Offers: The government will be evaluating quotes IAW FAR 52.212-2 -- Evaluation -- Commercial Items (Oct 2014). Award will be made to the lowest priced, technically acceptable quote. Technically acceptable offers will meet all requirements in the above Government's Statement of Requirement. Interested parties who believe they can meet all of the requirements for the items described in this combined synopsis/solicitation are invited to submit a complete quote including delivery FOB destination Air Force Plant 42, Palmdale, California 93550. Offerors are required to submit with their quote enough information for the Government to evaluate the minimum requirements detailed in this combined synopsis/solicitation. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
