Kingsbridge Road Bronx NY 10468 The Department of Veteran Affairs, JJ Peters Medical Center, at Bronx, NY is soliciting all vendors to find qualified vendors who could possibly provide contract action. This posting is strictly for market research purposes. The VA at JJ Peters Medical Center in the Bronx, NY requires Brand Name or Equal (2) Triton 36-Floor Model Cleaning System for the Sterilization Department. The North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) is 334510; the size standard is 1250 employees. The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources for this procurement. Responses to this notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses to this notice should be provided in a capabilities statement which includes: 1) Offerors name, address, point of contact, phone number, and e-mail address; 2) Offerors interest in bidding on the solicitation when it is issued; 3) Offerors capability to perform a contract of this magnitude and complexity; and 4) Offerors' Business Size (Large Business, HUBZone, Service Disabled Veteran Owned and/or Small Business, 8(a)) and DUNS number. Please email questions and responses to this notice to Shari Lee at shari.lee@va.gov, with the following in the subject line: "Sources Sought/526-16-3-282-0266/(2)Floor Model Cleaning System" Salient Characteristics needed for 2 required " Automatic Single Basin Ultrasonic Cleaning System. 1. Need (2) Triton 36-Floor Model Cleaning System (Brand-Name or Equal), Part number 09-0036 in the Bronx VA Medical Center, zip code 10468. Each individual machine must be able to clean cannulated, laparoscopic, orthopedic, robotic as well as flat surgical instruments. Each individual machine must include the Titanium Rod Transducer Technology, which provides superior cavitation, thus allowing the user to clean more instruments in a shorter period of time. Each machine also must have an easy-to-use large graphical touch pad with programmable timer. Each individual machine must be equipped with an automatic tray load elevator. Specifically, this is a pneumatic air cylinder that safely controls raising and lowering of the work tray elevator and this essential component eliminates the need for operators to reach into the tank of contaminated solution and reduces back strain. Each machine needs to have a 13 minute wash cycle. Each machines need to have slide and lock baskets which facilitates simple and efficient tray loading. Each individual machine needs to include 2 Baskets with Manifold system, Accessory Kit, Fill, Drain and Rinse Hoses, plus one wire hospital basket with dimensions of 21" x 10" x 4". Within each machine, the Cannulated Instrument capacity needs to be 36 and the Robotic Instrument capacity needs to be 20 (da Vinci ®). There must be 36 dedicated ports on each machine for cannulated instruments/3baskets. The load Capacity of each machine needs to be 40 lbs., which keeps sets together and productivity continuous. Each machine also must be able to accommodate hospital baskets as well. The Cycle time needs to be 13 minutes from fill to air purge. Each machine also must be fully automatic for degas, wash, rinse and air purge, as this completely eliminates waiting time for degassing! Each machine must also compatible with TAP, RO and DI water! This also includes complete training for all Staff. The electrical needs to be a 208V Standard; the dimension of each machine is 24"W x 49"D x 63"H, with the carriage up. (This package includes a pre-installation site survey). Must be MADE in USA and must be FDA compliant and meet FDA Regulation # 880.6150. 2.Need (2) USC Verify for each Triton 36 Machine, Part number 60-0811. USC Verify is Verification Software, exclusively for Triton 36 that records the time of cycle, water temperature, ultrasonics, irrigation, enzymes present, and operator ID. USC Verify provides the ability to export data to create and maintain detailed and accurate cleaning records. USC Verify delivers total traceability, so you always have a documented record of whether the correct procedures have been followed. USC Verify facilitates accuracy and electronically documents ultrasonic cleaning cycle data. Benchmarks individual and team productivity. Specifically, this reduces the risk of ultrasonic cleaning errors. USC Verify maintains an overview of the most important machine data, such as cycle phases, temperature and concentration of detergent. The Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation's (AAMI) current recommendations call for weekly, preferable daily, verification of cleaning processes. All data can be easily downloaded into Excel ® compatible formats for complete reporting and analysis. 3.Needs (2) S/Si Robotic Surgical Baskets, Part number 10-0321. Includes 10 robotic instrument adapters. 4.Needs (2) Mobile Storage Cart with castors, Part number 10-0157.
