Description

The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Norfolk, Contracting Department, Philadelphia Office announces a Sources Sought Notice to identify the availability of potential small business sources capable of providing engineering services to the Naval Supply Systems Command (NAVSUP) Weapon Systems Support (WSS), Philadelphia, PA. Services to include design, engineering, manufacturing and testing primarily related to aluminum or plastic reusable shipping and storage containers. The delivery orders (DOs) placed under this contract are completion type efforts which will require the contractor to complete and deliver specified end products (e.g., a final drawing package or prototype container(s)). Please see the attached Performance Work Statement (PWS), which details the types of tasks that contractors will be required to perform under the contract. The current requirement is being satisfied under a competitively awarded contract, N00189-11-D-Z032, a single award, cost plus fixed fee (CPFF), indefinite delivery/indefinite quantity (IDIQ), type contract. The contract was awarded to Computer Sciences Corporation of Glen Riddle, PA for total contract value of $3,923,787 and a total estimated level of effort of 40,995 hours throughout a base and four additional option periods. Performance under the contract is currently scheduled to end on 31 May 2017. A Cost Plus Fixed Fee (CPFF), Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract is anticipated that will consist of a one year base period and four, one year option periods. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 332439. Firms possessing the requisite skills, resources and capabilities necessary to perform the stated requirement are invited to respond to this source sought notice via the submission of an executive summary. Submissions are not to exceed five (5) typewritten pages in no less than 12 font size. The submission should include the following information and reference N00189-16-S-1875: 1. Company name, address, and point of contact with corresponding phone number and e-mail address 2. DUNS number, Cage Code, business size and classification 3. Capability statement displaying the contractor ™s ability to provide the services to include past performance information. If past performance information is provided, please include only relevant past performance on the same/similar work within the last five (5) years. This relevant past performance information should identify the applicable contract number; total contract dollar amount; capacity performed (Prime or Sub); contract period of performance; description of the relevant services provided AND the relevancy of the services to the proposed ITSS requirement; and a customer point of contact with corresponding telephone number and e-mail address (up to two references). Standard brochures and/or paraphrasing of the Source Sought Notice will not be considered sufficient to demonstrate the capabilities of an interested party. All submissions are required to be submitted via e-mail to yarden.doar@navy.mil no later than 8:00pm (local time/Philadelphia, PA) on 11 July 2016.
