Description

The Defense Logistics Agency, DLA Maritime Norfolk, Norfolk Naval Shipyard Contracting Division is conducting market research for potential sources for new tube bundles for a ship's 100,000 gallon/day distilling unit. A brief description is as follows: two (2) left hand tube bundles (P/N: 534-08386-000 14) and two (2) right hand tube bundles (P/N: 534-08324-000 15). This Notice constitutes a Request for Information only. This is not a Request for Proposal and in no way binds the Government to any contractual obligations as a result of any responses to this request, nor does it restrict the Government's acquisition approach. Vendors are urged to study the above requirements carefully before responding to this Notice. Interested vendors with the proper qualifications may respond to Christopher Johns at christopher.johns@dla.mil. Please make sure that the subject line on any email states "Sources Sought -Tube Bundles." Emails without subject indicators will not be read because of security issues. At a minimum, vendors shall provide the following information: Company name and address, CAGE code, and point of contact including telephone number and email address.
