Description

Signed Justification and Approval (J&A) NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER: The U.S. Marshals Service Training Division intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source - Polar Electro, 1111 Marcus Avenue, Suite M15, Lake Success, NY 11042 (CAGE: 032S0) for sixty (60) heart rate monitors. The statutory authority for this acquisition is 10 U.S.C 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1. In accordance with FAR 6.302-1(b)(1)(i), the items listed within the attached Justification and Approval for Other Than Full and Open Competition (J&A) are available from only one source. See attached additional details. The North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) is 334519 with a size standard of 500 employees. The U.S. Marshals Service Training Division intends on awarding the subject requirement on July 11, 2016. This award will be made upon determination of fair and reasonable pricing and is subject to FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. Purchase Order terms and conditions will be in accordance with FAR 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items (May 2015) and the applicable clauses of FAR 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders - Commercial Items (November 2015).
