Description

This notice is to provide information on the status for the CJIS Operations and Maintenance Professional Services (COMPs) re-compete efforts. The FBI is currently finalizing requirements and acquisition strategy. At this time there will be no contact with Industry. This includes meetings, phone calls, emails, etc.. This action is being taken in order to finalize allthe documents, gain the appropriate approvals, and prepare for the acquisition. It is the intention for the requirement to be released late summer/early fall but this is not definite. The current contract is being extended in order to move the period of performance from the fiscal year boundaries. The FBI will release a draft RFQ and will be holding opportunities for questions and one-on-one due dilegence sessions. This will be a daunting effort on the FBI's part so we request patience from Industry while we are finalizing our efforts. Please continue to watch the government portals for further information. No phone calls or emails will be accepted or returned requesting information. Also there shall be no contact with any FBI personnel other than the CO related to this requirement. Any contact wiht any FBI personnel could result in a company being precluded from competing. Thank you for your cooperation on this effort.
