Description

DESCRIPTION Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work as required by drawings and specifications for the complete installation and upgrade of the Same Day Surgery Suite. Work may require second and third shift to complete. Perspective contractor may not be able to work during first shift to keep from interrupting hospital operations. If second and third shift will be required, this shall be at no additional cost to the government. The Request for proposal (RFP is being issued as a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside in accordance with VAAR Clause 852.219-10. North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) code 236220 applies to this RFP. The small business size standard is $33.5 million. The magnitude of this construction project is between $5,000,000.00 and $10,000,000.00. Please see VAAR 852.246-75 for warranty for construction guarantee period of services. Funds are not currently available and funds may not become available; therefore, the VA will not be responsible for bid and proposal costs if the solicitation is cancelled because of a lack of funding. There is no on-site parking available for contractors, sub-contractors, nor is there storage available. Offerors must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM), VETBIZ, and have a current CVE verification at time of submission of this RFP. Contractors are responsible to ensure that all sub-contractors have the proper paperwork and identification to work on Federal Property.
