- Brand name justification Equipment list This notice is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6 "Streamlined Procedures for Evaluation and Solicitation for Commercial Items," as applicable, and as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation document will not be issued. Submit offers on RFQ-RML-D-1798134. This solicitation is a request for quotes (RFQ).The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2005-88 Jun 15, 2016. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 334111 with a small business size standard of 1250 people. This Acquisition is set aside for small business. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID), is seeking to purchase an Gigamon Bypass Combo Module HC series 4 SX/SR50/125 BPS pairs 16 10G cages and 2 port modules. Please see the attached equipment list for all component specifications. Please Note all interested quoters: (1) must be an authorized CERTIFIED PARTNER/reseller/service provider of Gigamon products by RFQ Closing and stated on quote. All interested companies shall provide quotation(s) the requested items have a delivery date no later than 30 days after award. FOB Point shall be Destination; (Rockville, MD) Place of Performance: Bethesda, MD USA Award will be based on the capability of the item offered to meet the above stated salient characteristics and will be quoted Brand name. As well as, price, past performance, delivery date (no later than 30 days after award), and the best value to the government. Quoters must include: the solicitation number, duns number, all equipment specifications, shipping charges and delivery date, and Any/all electronic and information technology (EIT) procured through this effort must meet the applicable accessibility standards at 36 CFR 1194. 36 CFR 1194 implements Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended, and is viewable at http://www.section508.gov. This is an open-market combined synopsis/solicitation for the Gigamon Bypass Combo Module HC series 4 SX/SR50/125 BPS pairs 16 10G cages and 2 port modules listed on the attached equipment list. The government intends to award a purchase order as a result of this combined synopsis/solicitation that will include the terms and conditions set forth herein. To facilitate the award process all quotes should include a statement regarding the terms and conditions herein as follows: "The Terms and conditions in the solicitation are acceptable to be included in the award document without modification, deletion or addition." OR "The terms and conditions in the solicitation are acceptable to be included in the award document with the exception, deletion, or addition of the following:" (Quoter shall list exception(s) and rationale for the exception(s).)
