- DRAFT PWS This Sources Sought notice is for informational and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a Solicitation and is not to be considered as a commitment by the Government. All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response to this notice is not a request that will be considered for contract award. The information from this market research is for planning purposes only and will assist the Government in planning its acquisition strategy. This is strictly market research and the Government will not entertain questions concerning this market research. The NAISC code for this requirement is 561920- Event Planning. The intent of this notice is to determine the availability of qualified commercial sources technically capable of providing the below: FY17 Yellow Ribbon Events: The Yellow Ribbon Reintegration Program (YRRP) is a Department of Defense (DOD) effort helping National Guard and Reserve service members and their families connect with local resources before, during, and after deployments. Service members and their families attend Yellow Ribbon events, where they access information on health care, education and training opportunities, financial services, and legal benefits. The DOD works in conjunction with federal partners, including the Small Business Administration and Departments of Labor and Veterans Affairs, to provide up-to-date and relevant information to National Guard and Reserve service members and their families. Contractor must be able to perform all tasks pertaining to the proposed PWS. Schedule dates may change as exact schedule has not been received. Contractor will be responsible for all costs of lodging, catering, child and youth care, transportation etc. as stated in PWS. The Government will not be awarding separate contracts for any tasks in the PWS. All expenses/costs are responsibility of contractor. The government will appoint a Contracting Officer Representative which will be present throughout each event. Please read the attached draft PWS carefully to determine if your company is interested in pursuing this opportunity. Potential offers having the ability to provide the requirement described are invited to provide a statement via e-mail. The statements shall not exceed five (5) pages and must include the following: 1) Company name and Point of Contact information (address, telephone, e-mail, web-site, etc.); 2) DUNS number and CAGE code; 3) 8(a) vendors to include socio-economic sub-categories (HUBZone, SDVOSB, etc.); and 4) Ability to provide the requirement. Responses are due no later than 10:00 am EST, 1 August 2016, and shall be electronically submitted to Patricia Early e-mail: patricia.a.early10.civ@mail.mil
