THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R, Detroit, MI is seeking an entity to provide service to inspect and test 373 fire dampers in accordance with original manufacturer's recommendations or specifications, and with NFPA 80 regulations as they pertain to fire dampers. The applicable North American Classification System (NAICS) code is 811310, with a small business size standard of $7.5 million applies. All potential bidders MUST be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM and show as 'active' to be eligible to submit a bid.Potential bidders should register at https://www.fedbizopps.gov in order to receive notification of and/or changes to the solicitation. The solicitation will be issued electronically and will be available only via the Federal Business Opportunities website https://www.fedbizopps.gov. The contract is for the period of the Date of Award for one (1) year period for the, VA John D. Dingell VA Medical Center, 4646 John R, Detroit, Michigan, 48201. Bid packages will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities website on or about June 28, 2016.
