- The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Acker Drill Co., Inc., 710 Shady Ln Rd, Chinchilla, PA 18410-0000 under authority of FAR 6.302-1. Acker Drill Co. is the only company who provides electric drill rigs with these specifications. The contract includes the supply of one (1) electric drill rig, with 4 speed auto transmission, travel speeds 142, 295, 540, 912, and 117 in reverse spindle bore: 3-5/8". Hand chuck assembly with one set of jaws. Planetary type wire drum hoist with 75 ft. of 3/8" hoisting cable and safety swivel hook. 15 H.P., 1750 RPM, 460 volt electric motor, totally enclosed, fan cooled; cerus starter; 460 volt NEMA 4/12 enclosure with push buttons; 460 volt, 18.5 AMP service required to operate 460V setup, 110 GFI outlet on the starter. Cathead cargo type hoist - with manual lookout. Structural steel drag basae with 16" hydraulic retraction. A receiver for various attachments. Full flow hydraulic oil filter. Feed pressure control valve. Electric cable assembly; Wireline Hoist - Hydraulic motor driven with 200 ft. 3/16" cable; Water swivel assembly AW LP, low profile. Must be modularized to fit a profile of 35" x 41". The NAICS Code is 333131 and the size standard is for 500 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. All responses received within 15 calendar days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
