- The U.S. Department of Labor, Employment and Training Administration, intends to award a sole source contract to Serrato Corporation, 135 W Council St., Tucson AZ 85701, a HUBZone Small Business. The statutory authority permitting the acquisition of this requirement is HUBZone Act of 1997-15 U.S.C. 657 (see FAR 19.306). Job Corps is a national training program that provides comprehensive academic, residential and career technical and training services to approximately 60,000 disadvantaged youth each year at 125 Job Corps centers nationwide. This requirement is for the operation of the Pinellas County Job Corps Center located in St Petersburg, FL. The anticipated period of performance is for a base period of 2.5 months (July 16 - September 30, 2016) and an option period of 3 months (October 1, 2016 through December 31, 2016). The requirement includes the provision of academic, career technical, career success skills, and career development training and related support services for an estimated 260 residential students 17 non-residential students. The contractor shall operate residential quarters (housing) and services to all students as applicable. This is a sole source notice published for informational purposes only and not a request for proposals. Therefore, no solicitation documents exist for this requirement. However, all responsible parties interested in responding to this notice are invited to submit a capability statement including costs by 4:30 PM EST by July 11, 2016 that provides sufficient details for consideration by the Government, via Email transmittal to: Eric Vogt at vogt.eric@dol.gov. Within the Subject line of your Email, reference DOL-ETA-16-C-0083 Pinellas County Job Corps Center Services. The determination not to compete the sole source contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice.
