- This project is part of NASNIs FY16 energy initiative and upgrades interior lighting and installs lighting controls in buildings 214, 335, and 1481 at Naval Base Coronado. The project will remove existing fluorescent lighting and replace with newer 3rd generation T-8 lamps and ballasts. The existing incandescent style spot and/or canned lighting shall be replaced with LED lighting. The project will include replacement of water-wasting plumbing fixtures which are beyond the point of repair and are highly inefficient in buildings 14 and 335. The project will also replace the existing, deteriorated HVAC system in Buildings 631, 14, 335, and 1481 by removing the old HVAC system and providing new energy efficient HVAC equipment. The capacity of the new HVAC system will remain the same as existing. All new HVAC equipment and related electrical equipment shall meet or exceeds the minimum efficiencies listed by Energy Star and Federal Energy Management Program (FEMP)
