- This procurement is for Keyboard Video Mouse (KVM) video matrix switching equipment from Thinklogical. This equipment will be used at the new Command and Control (C2) Facility at Offutt Air Force Base. The new C2 Facility contains several large Operation Centers that form the backbone for supporting the growing mission set. Collectively, these spaces are referred to as the Global Operations Center (GOC). The GOC requires a very large (more than 3000 port) and complex video distribution system (VDS) to interconnect these Operation Centers. This VDS also requires the remote location of source devices (computers) which means that the systems also acts as a KVM solution. Thinklogical is the only company which makes a KVM video matrix switching solution that meets the Government's Requirements. Specifically, the requirements call for a system that is large (more than 3000 ports); scalable (can grow to support future capacity increases of up to 25%); modular (with components spread across different spaces); and EAL4 certified to operate in an environment with multiple security classification domains.
