- General Decision dated 6-24-2016 Drawings Specifications Clauses and provisioins SF1442, Solicitation, Offer and Award. Provide your bid on this sheet. Bid bond is required. Site visit is July 13 at the U.S. Mean Animal Research Center, in Clay Center, NE.. Provide and install a 60' x 168' pre-engineered metal building with an eave height of 13' on one side and 18' on the other side. It shall be complete with concrete foundation and columns and a 3' high concrete stem wall on all sides. It shall be used for treating and holding cattle and calves in one of the outlying areas of the research facility. It shall have 3 overhead doors with operators and 3 manual overhead doors. It shall also have 2 walk doors, vent openings, and windows. Options shall include wall, roof, and overhead door insulation, a lightning protection system, and electrical work such as lighting and electrical outlets. Estimated price range, options inclusive, is between $250,000 and $500,000. Clauses & provisions, specifications, drawings and General Decisiion are poated.
