Description
Supply & Deliver one Center Console, unpainted 26’ long by 8’6 wide aluminum barge/transport. Similar to the Viking V-2686 Barge and Transport Vessel. BRAND NAME OR EQUAL: SOW and SPECIFICATIONS ALUMINUM TRANSPORTER BOAT BARGE and TRAILER LAKE OUACHITA ARKANSAS Supply & Deliver one Center Console, unpainted 26' long by 8'6 wide aluminum barge/transport. Similar to the Viking V-2686 Barge and Transport Vessel. BASIC CONFIGURATION: The 26' flat bottom vessel will have an aluminum hull with a thickness of no less than ¼ inch. The side of the vessel will be at least 30 inches in height with a thickness of 3/16 inches. The beam will be no less than 8 feet, 6 inches, measured at the vessels nominal waterline. The front deck and floor will consist of 3/16 inch aluminum tread plate, similar to plating found on fire trucks or toolboxes. The floor will be coated with a durable non-skid coating. On the front of the vessel it will require two push knees with rubber bumpers on the face of the knees for securing or pushing barges. The full length of the gunnel must have a 3 inch "D" rub rails. On each corner or the bow and stern will be 4 heavy duty cleats. The stern of the vessel will be fitted with an aluminum motor guard; the bow and stern handrails must be removable for easy loading and unloading of supplies and materials. The vessel will also require navigation lights that adhere to all Federal and State Regulations, to include, but not limited to, a horn, one B-1 Coast Guard approved fire extinguisher and at least 2 power ports (charging ports) located at the drivers console and minimal storage provided at the bow of the vessel. The center console will be a T-Top, open back pilothouse, with padded bench box seats for the operator and passengers. Dry storage will be available under the operator's seat with enough room to store required personnel floatation devices. Operators console shall be mounted so that the forward half of the boat is open deck. Front deck shall be flat with no trip hazards. MOTOR, STEERING AND OTHER ACCESSORIES The vessel will be powered by two 150 hp Yamaha four-stroke motors with 25 inch shaft and be controlled by hydraulic steering. Motors will be mounted to the transom with two, five-pound Sacrificial anodes attached. The propeller will be stainless steel and provide a pitch that maximizes power and speed of the vessel. Located at the console will be a tachometer, fuel gage, remote controlled search light, PA speaker, AM/FM radio and Marine Band radio. ENGINE CONTROL AND CABLES: Engine control cables shall be Yamaha premium cables. There shall be an 18" diameter loop in all cables (electrical and mechanical) when they exit the transom before being connected to the engines. Shift and throttle cables shall have vinyl tubing slipped over the portion of the cables that is between the transom and the engines to prevent chafing. Gear Shift - 704-48205-P0-00 Premium Single Controls. LIGHTBAR: On the roof of the ‘T' top shall be mounted an emergency light bar (Whelen Engineering Mini JUSTICE Economy LED Light bar) which is visible from 360 degrees. The light bar must be hard wired to include a rocker panel type switch on the instrument panel and accessible by the captain's chair for easy on/off operation. NAVIGATION LIGHTS: Red/Green shall be Perko #1264DP-CHR mounted high on the side of the ‘T' top. White anchor light shall be Aqua Signal #3570042 mounted on a pole, 3 feet in height, which is removable with a Ford type electrical connector. Storage clips shall be installed to store anchor light. BATTERY CHARGER: Two Pro Charger single battery chargers shall be permanently installed inside the leaning post. There shall be a single 120VAC plug in cord to connect both chargers to A/C power. BATTERY LEADS TO ENGINES: Original Yamaha battery leads shall be used to power the engine. Yamaha auxiliary battery charging lead shall be connected to the second battery. SPOTLIGHT: (ACR RCL-100 12V Spot Light - ACR Electronics) The spotlight shall be remote control with the control panel located in a convenient place to the right side of the boat operator. The spotlight shall be installed as low as possible to the ‘T' top roof. DEPTH FINDER: The vessel must have depth finder with GPS Sonar capabilities, minimum screen width of 12 inches (COLOR), side imaging and down imaging GPS chart plotter, preloaded with LakeVu HD maps (or similar) as well as installation of all ancillary equipment/rigging to make the unit work at its full designed capacity. BILGE PUMP AND SWITCH: There shall be a 12DC bilge pump and automatic switch mounted in the hull. The bilge pumps shall be Attwood #HD1700, with a Mayfair #26012 automatic pump switch for control. The dash control switches shall be Mayfair #7205. GAS TANK: Mounted 65-gallon aluminum gas tank or larger. Tank shall have one fuel pickup and one WEMA style gauge sending unit. Engine pickup tube and gauge sending unit shall be in the after-most area of the fuel tank. Gas tank shall be convenient to remove for repairs or replacement. Do not put suction filter screen in fuel tank suction tube. ELECTRIC CRANE: The Vendor shall provide and install a davit crane with electrical winch at the port side (or starboard), near the bow. The crane must have at least a 1000 pound lifting capacity, and this must be clearly stated on the crane to ensure safety. A safety locking mechanism must be installed to prevent movement, such as rotation, will not occur during transportation. BATTERIES: There shall be two 12V Trojan SM1100 batteries, in battery boxes, installed in the leaning post. Batteries shall be connected in parallel. Engine cranking, buoy hoist as well as other 12VDC power shall be supplied by these two batteries. BOARDING LADDER: The vessel will have a hide-a-way style stainless or aluminum steel boarding ladder. TRAILER: The Vendor will provide an all-aluminum trailer with marine grade bunks and carpeting that's designed for saltwater (stainless steel hardware). The trailer will come with disc brakes, spare tire, mounting brackets and a net load capacity of 8000 lb. or greater. Tires will meet the carrying capacity of the trailer and the hubs will be protected with a "Bearing Buddy" type hub assembly. The loading winch and bow stop roller will be installed in a manner that the bow of the vessel will not hit below the roller during normal loading operations. EPA Designated Under the Comprehensive Procurement Guidelines (CPG) program, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) designates products that are or can be made with recovered materials, and recommends practices for buying these products. Any designated product that is being offered or supplied under this contract shall meet the minimum recommended content levels as identified under the CPG program.
