Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to enter into an "other than full and open competition", sole source agreement with ASCO Services, Inc. for the purchase/upgrade of hospital generator Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS) and annunciator panel. The VA Master Construction Specifications Manual (PG-18-1), section 26 36 23 Part 1, 1.3.A; requires that "Automatic transfer switch, bypass/isolation switch, and annunciation control panels shall be products of the same manufacturer". ASCO is the manufacturer of the ATS and annunciator panels currently installed. This is in accordance with FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a single source. This requirement is for: Department of Veterans Affairs VA Portland Health Care System Vancouver Warehouse 1601 E. Fourth Plain Blvd Vancouver, WA 98662 This notice satisfies the requirement at FAR 5.201(b)(1), to publicize the proposed contract action. Written responses to this notice shall contain verification from ASCO Services as being an authorized service provider. All responses must be received no later than 6 July 2016, 3:00PM, Pacific Standard Time, and should indicate whether the vendor is a Small Business or Other Than Small Business.
