- RFP ] Line Item 0001 & Line Item 0002 : NSN 1730013296355RN, Part Number 7186-010, Hydraulic Jack Tester The Jack Tester is a large, permanently installed fixture used for static load testing of hydraulic jacks with capacity of 75 tons. The structural steel base of the tester is installed in a concrete base 14 feet wide and 15 feet long at ground level to support two vertical columns set 110 inches apart. A top column support ties the columns together and supports a 2 ton electric hoist. A movable beam assembly, below the hoist, is guided by the columns and supported by the hoist. The jack tester can be used to verify that a jack under test can generate the required tonnage, that the jack can withstand the rated load and that the safety relief valve works as it should. Basic Quantity total for Item 0001 is one each in support of the Air Combat Command (ACC) MAJCOM. Basic Quantity total for Item 0002 is four each in support of the Air Force Reserve (AFR) MAJCOM. Combined Basic Quantity total for Items 0001 and 0002 is five each. Also included are four options: Option I for a quantity range of 1-5 EA, Option II for a quantity range of 1-5 EA, Option III for a quantity range of 1-5 EA, and Option IV for a quantity range of 1-5 EA. Options may be exercised for USAF or FMS requirements. Delivery is required 180 days ARO Contract/Exercise of Option, as applicable. Basic quantity for ACC will ship (1) each to FE2055 and basic quantity for AFR of (4) each will ship (1) each to FE6675, FE4654, FE2500 and FE6703 respectively. Delivery locations for options will be determined at time option(s) is exercised. This solicitation is being issued as a 100% small business set aside. Offerors shall prepare their proposals in accordance with mandatory, explicit and detailed instructions contained in the RFP. The RFP will be released on or around June 30, 2016. Proposals will be due on or before August 1, 2016. The RFP and technical data package will be posted to the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website. NO HARD COPIES WILL BE PROVIDED. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED. Offerors are encouraged to register to receive notification for solicitation and all amendments/revisions and to check the FEDBIZOPPS site prior to submission of proposal. Based upon market research, the Government is not using policies contained in Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items, in its solicitation for the described supplies or services. However, interested parties may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item within 15 days of this notice.
