- The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), Office of Environmental Management (EM), is currently in the acquisition planning stage for construction of a water treatment facility needed for mercury remediation at the Y-12 National Security Complex (Y-12) located in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. DOE is seeking feedback from contractors and other interested parties regarding opportunities for innovative approaches for the performance of the attached draft SOW as well as insight into potential contracting alternatives. The DOE EM Consolidated Business Center (EMCBC) has created a procurement website where additional information is provided which may be viewed at https://www.emcbc.doe.gov/SEB/OF200MTF/. A full copy of the RFI and draft Statement of Work will be posted to the website. All capability statements and questions pertaining to this announcement shall be submitted electronically to OF200MTF@emcbc.doe.gov no later than 04:00 p.m. Eastern Daylight Time on July 15, 2016.
