Description

AG-3C78-S-16-0035 COMPLETE BID PACKAGE The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA)Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) is issuing a Invitation for Bid (IFB)for ONE contract consisting of construction/enhancement of three (3) properties under the Wetland Restoration Program (WRP). Location: Lake Ida Township in Norman County, Minnesota Activities: The activity required for this area site will include clearing and grubbing, earthwork grading, tree and brush removal/grinding, chemical treatment of re-sprouts, prescribed burning, pre-seeding site preparation, seeding species in specified areas, and providing post-seeding maintenance (mowing). Site preparation may include chemical and/or mechanical treatment. Site preparation may include chemical and/or mechanical treatment. Set Aside: This acquisition is 100% set-aside for small businesses. The applicable NAICS code is 237990. Magnitude: in accordance with FAR 36.204, the magnitude of this project is between $100,000 and $250,000 Bonds: The successful low bidder will be required to provide a 100% payment bond or irrevocable letter of credit within 10 days of contract award. Any costs associated with obtaining this surety should be included in Bid Item 1 - Mobilization. If a bond is used, the bonding company must be on the US Treasury Department's list of approved surety companies. There is a 20% bid guarantee required to submit a bid. Performance bond is required for this contract. The solicitation package, construction drawings and specifications are posted and available from this site. Site Visit: A pre-bid site visit has been scheduled for Monday, July 11 at 10:00 CST, 10 E. 2nd Ave S, Ada, MN 56510-1621 Bids Due Date and Opening: Bids are due NLT 03 Aug 2016, 1300hrs EST. Bids will be opened at that time.
