- The ACC-NJ anticipates releasing a solicitation announcement, to be published in the Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov), on or about 7 July 2016. The solicitation will consist of a FIRM-FIXED-PRICE contract for a period of performance of 18-21 August 2016. This is synopsis for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and written solicitation will not be issued. The Army Contracting Command - NJ Fort Dix, New Jersey intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) W15QKN-16-T-1041 for Yellow Ribbon Event requirement s in Arlington, VA as specified in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). This requirement is open to both small and large businesses. The contract period consists of 18-21 August 2016. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 721110 with a small business size standard of $35 Million. BROAD DESCRIPTION of WORK: The Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, facilities, transportation, tools, materials, supervision, and other items and non-personal services necessary to perform the listed requirements as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS), except for those items specified as government furnished property and services. The Contractor shall perform to the standards of this PWS. The proposed contractor must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) prior to awarding of any contract resulting from this solicitation. A contractor can contact SAM by calling 1-866-606-8220 or locate registration information at www.fsd.gov. A DUNS (Dun and Bradstreet) number is required in order to register. All invoices subject to payment by the Defense Accounting and Finance Office shall be submitted through Wide Area Work Flow. You can register at https://wawf.eb.mil/ BASIS OF AWARD: Award shall be made to a single offeror. Quotes must include prices for each item listed in order that quotes may be properly evaluated. Failure to do this shall be cause for rejection of the entire quote. Award shall be made to a single contractor. Award shall be made to that responsive, responsible offeror whose total aggregate price is lowest.
