- THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. This is not a request for offers or proposals. This notice does not represent a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information provided. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this notice. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential small businesses who can provide parking space rental near the Denver MEPS Center. The NAICS code for this requirement is 812930. All interested small businesses may provide in writing their interest in providing this service (Refer to Statement of Work below. Interested contractors/vendors must provide the following information along with their response; CAGE#, DUNS#, Tax ID#, and point of contact. Please forward all inquiries and responses to Michael Furtney at 720-250-4038 or email to Michael.b.furtney.mil@mail.mil. Statement of Work 1. TITLE: MEPS Parking 2. OBJECTIVE: To provide safe and secure parking of our GSA vehicles within a reasonable walking distance (not more than approximately ½ mile) from the Denver Military Entrance Processing Station at 621 17th St., Denver, CO 80293 for our recruiters, personnel and applicants going thru the Denver MEPS Station. 3. OVERVIEW: The Federal Building where the Denver MEPS is located does not offer parking to the Colorado Army National Guard recruiting personnel, employees or applicants. In many cases if a parking space can be found it isn't within a reasonable walking distance (less than.50 miles) and vehicles have to be left in areas that are prone to vandalism and possibly theft. 4. Parking garages are preferred due to the additional security monitoring and having proxy access requirements. 5. The parking requirement would be for 2 spaces for MEPS workers and 3 spaces for our teams for a total of 5 spaces at a parking garage, closely located to the MEPS Station.
