- Description
- Goodfellow AFB, San Angelo Texas, requires a contract for removal of scrub brush, mesquite, and prickly pear from 56.03 acres and to seed the area using native seed mix described in table 2 of the Statement of Work. The Contractor will provide quote that fits the attached specifications. The requirement will be solicited and evaluated under procedures of FAR 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 561730, the size standard is $7,500,000.00. The anticipated Period of Performance for removal of the noxious brush is 01 August 2016 through 15 September 2016. After the removal of the brush, seeding will take place and the period of performance for monitoring the grass growth is from 16 September 2016 to 30 April 2017. All vendors must be registered at the System for Award Management website at www.sam.gov, and have a tax identification number and a Data Universal Numbering System (DUNS) number. DUNS information and/or application can be accessed at http://smallbusiness.dnb.com or by calling 1-800-234-3867. The solicitation will be posted on or about 30 June 2016. The government contemplates award of a Firm Fixed Price contract to the responsible vendor whose quote conforms to the requirements of the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government.
