- Description
- The Black Hills National Forest intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP), to award a single firm fixed price contract. This solicitation will entail Base Items an (4) option items. North Cove campground will entail some of the following items of work: 1. Demolition of existing water system 2. Site Prep for furnished CXT toilets & concrete treatment building mfg. by CXT. 3. Installation of 1" & 1.5" HDPE water lines 4. Furnish & install new water tank, hydrants, relief valves, & daylight drains 5. Furnish electrical services for the system 6. Landscaping The contractor shall be responsible for all labor, equipment, supplies, services, permits, supervision, workman's compensation, unemployment, and transportation, as specified in the requirements. The magnitude of this construction project is estimated between $250,000 and $500,000. The anticipated North American Industry Classification (NAICS) code is 237110 Water and Sewer Line and related Structures Construction, with a size standard of $36.5 million Performance and payment bonds will be required following award pursuant to the Miller Act. A Pre-Proposal visit date will be included in the solicitation. The procurement 100% set-aside for Small Business, and will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract. The required construction completion date is May 01, 2017. To ensure that you receive all information regarding this solicitation, be sure to register to receive updates at www.fedbizopps.gov. It is anticipated that the solicitation (RFP) will be issued on or about July 15, 2016, with proposals due on or about August 15, 2016. The solicitation (specifications, clauses and provisions, and forms) will only be available electronically on the FedBizOpps website. Potential bidders must register with FedBizOpps in order to have access to the solicitation material. Offerors submitting a Request for Proposal are required by the FAR to use the System for Acquisition Management (SAM) (www.sam.gov). SAM is a web-based system that centralizes and standardizes the collection, storage, and viewing of many of the FAR required representations and certifications previously found in Solicitations. With SAM, vendors now have the ability to enter and maintain their representation and certification information. Vendors will need to review and/or update the SAM record when changes are necessary; annually to maintain an active status.
