- Questions and Answers COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION 21 June 2016 ISSUED BY: 379th Expeditionary Contracting Squadron Al Udeid AB, Qatar 09309 RFQ NUMBER: FA5702-16-R-0005 TITLE: Laundry Service This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) in accordance with (IAW) FAR 13.5 procedures. Submit only written quotations for RFQ FA5702-16-R-0005 in response to this solicitation. The solicitation document, incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2005-82-1 Effective 02 July 2015. 1. DESCRIPTION: THE FOLLOWING DESCRIPTION HAS BEEN AMENDED ON 14 JUNE 2016 TO INCORPORATE CHANGES TO ATTACHMENT 1 AND THE PERIOD OF PERFORMANCE See Attachment 1 -Performance Work Statement (PWS) dated 8 Jun 16 for detailed description of services. The Government requires the following items: The contractor shall provide all laundry and organizational dry cleaning services to all US and Coalition Forces and designated civilian contractors at Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, materials, supervision, tools, and other items and services necessary to perform laundry services and lodging linen exchange services as defined in this Performance Work Statement (PWS). This contract includes all laundry, drying, folding, and all other tasks and responsibilities deemed necessary that are described in this contract to include receiving for, accounting for, processing and returning all organizational and individual items tendered for cleaning. Services will be provided in accordance with the terms and conditions of this contract. Attachment 2, Pricing Exhibit, lists all clothing and linens to be laundered. This RFQ is for a single award Firm-Fixed Price Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity Contract with an ordering period of five (5) years. THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION HAS BEEN ADMENDED ON 11 JUNE 2016 TO EXTEND THE QUOTE DUE DATE TO 30 JUNE 2016. THE FOLLOWING ADDITIONAL INFORMATION HAS BEEN AMENDED ON 21 JUNE 2016 TO EXTEND THE QUESTION DEADLINE TO 26 JUNE 2016 (See Attachment 3 - Provisions-Clauses 8 June 2016 ); QUOTE DEADLINE AND PAST PERFORMANCE QUESTIONNAIRE (See Attachment 4 - Past Performance Questionnaire) TO 15 JULY 2016. Offerors are required to quote on all line items. Incomplete quotes will not be evaluated for consideration of award. THE DEADLINE FOR ALL QUOTES TO BE SUBMITTED IS 15 July 2016, 1630 Arabic Standard Time (AST)/4:30 PM Local (0930 Eastern Standard Time/9:30AM).
