Description

VA786-16-R-0258 PRE SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR IRRIGATION MAINTENANCE SERVICES FOR SARATOGA NATIONAL CEMETERY, 200 DUELL ROAD, SCHUYLERVILLE, NY 12871-1721 The Contractor shall furnish all labor, equipment, parts, materials, supplies, and transportation necessary to perform Start-up, Shut-down and Maintenance Services of Government owned Irrigation System located at Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuylerville NY 12871-1721. The successful bidder shall be responsible for the complete irrigation system. Including but not limited, to startup, maintenance and shutdown of all irrigation equipment from the intake structure located in the Hudson River through the pumphouse and all related equipment, transmission lines, valving from the pumphouse to the Cemetery. The work shall include all satellite stations, zone valves, main piping, lateral piping, joints, and irrigation heads throughout the Cemetery as well as the river intake pump station physically located in the Hudson River. Services Required: 0001 Irrigation System Fall Shutdown (once annually between October 1 and October 15) - Includes complete drainage and blowing out all irrigation equipment to prevent frost/freezing damage. 0002 Irrigation System Spring Startup (once annually between April 15 and May 1) General & Emergency Irrigation System Repair & Services 0003 Repair / Services (straight time) 0004 Parts - Manufacturer's List Price Less ____% Government Discount Note: Hourly rates include all travel to and from the Saratoga National Cemetery. Parts shall be listed separately on the repair invoice less any discount percentage offered. Term of Contract: The contract shall be from October 1st, 2016 (or date of award) through September 30th, 2017, with four, one-year options, if exercised. This acquisition is for a 100% Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business Set-Aside. North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) Code 221310 is applicable. Reference Solicitation Number RFP VA786-16-R-0258 on remittances. An electronic solicitation will be available for download from www.FedBizOpps.gov on or about July 6, 2016. Responses to the solicitation are due by 2:00 p.m., July 27, 2016. Offerors are advised that they are responsible for obtaining amendments to the solicitation which is available at Fed Biz Opps.
