- The Mission and Installation Contracting Command-Carlisle Barracks intends to award this requirement for mannequins and mannequin components on a Sole Source basis to: Dorfman Museum Figures, Inc., 6224 Holabird Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224., on a Firm Fixed Price Contract. Should any future requirement(s) evolve from this preliminary planning process, the delivery date is anticipated to be 15 JUL 2016. This procurement will be processed as Other Than Full and Open Competition as authorized by FAR 13.106-1(b)(1). This is neither a Request for Quotation nor an announcement of a forthcoming solicitation. The NAICS Code for this acquisition is 339999 with size standard of 500 employees. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. A determination not to compete this procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All responses must be received by 7 July 2016. If no affirmative written responses are received by the due date indicating that comparable source exists, an order will be placed with Dorfman Museum Figures Inc., for the aforementioned requirement. The US Army War College in support of the US Army Heritage and Education Center requires the following items in accordance with the Purchase Description: PURCHASE DESCRIPTION BACKGROUND The Army Heritage Museum, USAHEC, USAWC desires to acquire museum quality mannequins to support the exhibits program at USAHEC and USAWC. The mannequins must have parts that are interchangeable with the existing mannequins held by the Museum. Currently, the Museum's mannequins were procured from Dorfman Museum Figures, 6224 Holabird Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21224. Sole source procurement of additional mannequins from Dorfman Museum Figures will allow the Museum the ability to interchange mannequin components: heads, arms, hands and bodies as needed to meet the exhibit requirements. Dorfman is the only know source for Dorfman Museum Figures and is recommended as the vendor for this procurement. A signed Sole Source Justification and Approval is included in the contract file. The vendor shall provide the museum figures and components which meet the following requirements and quantities DELIVERED FOB Destination to the Installation Property Book Office at 323 Engineer Ave. Carlisle, PA. 17013. 1). 15 Each Dorfman Full Flex Human Form Museum Mannequins/Figures (Model 3000) • Life-like in appearance • Heads will be selected by Government (Requiring Activity POC) from vendor's standard stock of "wigged" heads after award • With posable hands to match selected heads in skin color and size 2). 15 Pairs Full Flex Arms (15 right and 15 left) 3). 5 Each Heads will be selected by Government (Requiring Activity POC) from vendor's standard stock of "wigged" heads after award WARRANTY-Vendor shall warranty all items to be free from defects in manufacturing or materials for one year, normal wear and tear excepted.
