- As a stand-alone sources sought notice: SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE: NAVSUP Weapon Systems Support (NAVSUP WSS) Philadelphia is seeking eligible contractors to furnish effort including labor, material, and facilities as may be required to purchase the items as specified within this document. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Government intends to solicit for the purchase of the following items: NIIN 016445174 NIIN 016445197 NIIN 016445200 NIIN 016445204 NIIN 016445205 NIIN 016445206 NIIN 016445207 NIIN 016445208 NIIN 016445212 NIIN 016449975 NIIN 016445209* NIIN 016445215* *Added addl NIINs The design of these parts is unstable. Engineering, manufacturing, or performance characteristics indicate that the required design objectives have not been achieved. All responsible sources may identify their interest and provide capability statements in response to this notice. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within 15 days after date of publication of this sources sought notice will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Source Approval is required. WSS will not delay award while Source Approval is pending. The time required for approval of a new source is normally such that an award cannot be delayed pending approval of a new source. If you are not an approved source you must submit, together with your proposal, the information detailed in the NAVSUP-WSS Source Approval Information Brochure for Spares.
