- PROJECT TITLE Relocation and renovation of mobile range from Bahrain to Poland LOCATION Redzikowo, Poland AGENCY Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Europe Africa Southwest Asia (EURAFSWA) TYPE OF SET-ASIDE: This acquisition will be solicited on an unrestricted basis using full and open, competitive procedures CONTRACT TYPE: Firm Fixed Price contract PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Project is the refurbishment and relocation of a self-contained, mobile firing range that will be used for mandatory annual and semi-annual smalls arms fire initial and periodic re-qualification training at NSF Redzikowo, Poland. The contractor will dismantle and remove all sound proofing, GranTex granular bullet trap rubber, flooring, and strip out the mobile range unit in Bahrain prior to shipment. This work will be accomplished at NSA Bahrain and the removed material will be disposed of by the Government. The contractor will then ship the range from Bahrain to Poland and deliver it to NSF Redzikowo. Upon arrival in Redzikowo, Poland, the mobile range will be deep cleaned prior to the installation of all new equipment. All new equipment will be tested and commissioned in accordance with manufacturers recommendations. ANTICIPATED SOLICITATION RELEASE DATE: The Government anticipates releasing the solicitation on or about 14 July 2016. Actual proposal due date and time will be identified in the solicitation. Responses to this pre-solicitation are not required. Additional details can be found in the solicitation when it is posted.
