Description

THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE ONLY. THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL OR QUOTE; THE VA IS NOT SEEKING PRICING OR OFFERS. The Department of Veterans Affairs, VISN 15, in support of the Veterans Affairs Eastern Kansas Health Care System, is currently requesting information to determine the existence of viable commercial sources capable of providing Yoga Instruction for the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center in Leavenworth, KS, 4101 S. 4th Street Trafficway, Leavenworth, KS 66048. The intended contract period of performance will start within 30 days of award date and expire within 12 months of award date. Description of Services: I. Work to be performed: The contractor shall provide yoga classes for hospital employees at the Dwight D. Eisenhower VA Medical Center in Leavenworth, Kansas. Classes will be at least 1.25 hour in length and will be in the late afternoon two days/week, over a year-long period, for a total of 52 classes. Day and time will be determined at a later time. II. Special Instructions: The contractor will provide Iyengar style of yoga practice and will provide one on one instruction as needed to ensure that yoga poses or asanas are in the proper form. · Instructor will be a certified instructor with at least 500 hours of teacher training · CPR certified · Yoga Alliance Certified · Preferred qualification : KS board of Regents Certification For all certifications, copies of a certificates must be provided. The Government is not soliciting offers at this time, and it will be the Contracting Officer who will determine which suggested changes are accepted. This is a sources sought notice to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources. A solicitation is not currently available. Responses to this request will be considered for the purpose of determining how the requirements will be stated and how the procurement will be conducted. This sources sought announcement is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or to award a contract. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this synopsis or any follow-up information requests.
