Description

The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to negotiate on other than full and open competition the purchase for Leica HyD detector from Life Technologies Corporation, 3175 Staley Road, Grand Island, NY 14072. (01) QUANTSTUDIO 12K FLEX, 384-. (2) 384-WELL CALIBRATION INSTALL (3) QUANT STUDIO BASIC TRG, CUST. The QuantStudio™ 12K Flex system is a highly flexible, comprehensive real-time PCR platform. Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) allows amplification of DNA or cDNA targets in the presence of fluorescent dyes whose signal is captured in “Real-Time”, which allows the Genomics unit the capability to determine how many copies of DNA or cDNA (made from RNA) there are within any given sample. The QuantStudio™ 12K Flex system is the only system that meets these specifications. All responsible sources may submit a response that will be considered. The Government reserves the right to make a decision whether this requirement is available for competition.
