- SF 30 Amendment #5 - AG-569R-S-16-0018 Attachment #2 - Mechanical Set REVISED & CERTIFIED Plans Attachment #1 - Toumey Technical Specifications UPDATED AMENDMENT #5 This amendment is to attach a certified revised version of Attachment #2 -Mechanical Set of Steam Room Final Plans AND to include an updated version of Attachment #1 - Toumey Technical Specifications. The response date will remain as July 18, 2016, 4:30 p.m. EST. AMENDMENT #4 This amendment is to attach a new revised edition of Attachment #2 - Mechanical Set of Steam Room Final Plans. The NEW response due date is July 18, 2016, 4:30 p.m. EST. AMENDMENT #3 This amendment is to remove reference to revoked executive orders (EO) 13423 and (EO) 13514 from pages 5-6 of the solicitation document and to include executive order (EO) 13693 (current as of 06/2015) to this same location. AMENDMENT #2 This amendment is to: 1) Replace the current Attachment 1 with revised version - Attachment 1 - Corrected Toumey Technical Specifications; 2) Provide a Q&A sheet & list of attendees from the pre-bid meeting; 3) Include Addendum #1 as changes to the solicitation. Solicitation date/time for return of bids HAS BEEN EXTENDED to May 13, 2016, 1 p.m. EST. AMENDMENT #1 THIS AMENDMENT IS TO NOTIFY BIDDERS THAT A PRE-BID MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR THURSDAY, APRIL 14TH AT 2:00 P.M. CST AT THE TOUMEY NURSERY PROJECT SITE. A list of attendees and Q&A's from this meeting will be posted into FBO following the meeting. The Toumey Nursery is located approximately 1 mile from the junction of US Highway 2 and US Highway 45 in Watersmeet, Michigan. Directions: From the junction, travel north on US Hwy 45 approximately.75 miles. Turn right on Old US 2 East, then travel.25 miles east. Turn right into the Nursery driveway and follow the drive to the office. Following a tour of the project site, the COR will lead the group to the District Office to meet with the project designers for answers to their project questions. The Lake States Acquisition Team is announcing an opportunity to bid on the J.W. Toumey Nursery Steam Room Conversion Project for the Ottawa National Forest in Watersmeet, MI. This acquisition is advertised as a total small business set-aside using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Per FAR SubPart 5.202(a)(13) a pre-solicitation is not required. In accordance with FAR Part 36.204(b), the estimated magnitude of construction is between $25,000 and $100,000. The applicable North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 238220. The Small Business Administration size standard is $15 million. Contractors are required to be actively registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) database and completed their online representations and certifications. Bacon-Davis wage rates will apply to this contract. Payment protection is required on bids exceeding $30,000. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this solicitation, amendments, or any follow up information requests. No hard copies of the solicitation, supporting documents and applicable amendments, if any, will be provided. To receive the entire solicitation package and any applicable amendments, prospective offerors must download them from the FedBizOpps website. Project dates are negotiable and the contract is estimated to require approximately 90 days for completion. Completion date will be no later than September 1, 2016. The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, Contraction of a small boiler room on the existing loading dock, installation of a high pressure steam boiler and components, water piping, electrical to power, training of FS personnel for operation, preparing & providing operation & maintenance manuals and other items designated under provisions of this contract necessary to complete the entire project per specifications included and in the established timeframe. All invoices must be submitted via the electronic Invoice Processing Platform (IPP). This is a mandatory requirement initiated by the U.S. Department of Treasury.
