- The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Office of Research and Development (ORD), National Risk Management Research Laboratory (NRMRL)Water Supply and Water Resources Division (WSWRD), located in Cincinnati, OH intends to solicit quotes for a service agreement for Agilent Laboratory equipment. The services will be needed for a period of 1 base year with 2 renewal options. This acquisition will be processed in accordance with FAR Part 12 ¿ Commercial Item Procedures and will be soliciting for full and open competition. The North American Industry Classification Code (NAICS) is 811219. The size standard for this code is 500 employees. THIS IS A PRE-SOLICITATION NOTICE is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document is available. The requirements are as follows ¿ Service agreement for the repair and maintenance of an existing Agilent Liquid Chromatography Inductively Coupled Plasma Mass Spectroscopy system (LC-ICP-MS). The system components are listed as follows ¿ 7700x ICP-MS, 1260 Quat Pump, 1260 ALS, 1260 TCC, ASX-500 Autosampler, Polyscience Chiller, and HP computer. The agreement shall include a response time of 5 working days, repairs to be performed by an Agilent certified field engineer, unlimited repairs to restore the LC-ICP-MS system to operating condition. All parts and consumables required for repair shall be Agilent certified parts. All field engineer ¿s travel and labor charges shall be included. Software upgrades shall be included. Hardware telephone support from an Agilent certified engineer shall be included. If the instrument cannot be repaired, the instrument will be replaced. Instrumentation is located at the Andrew W. Breidenbach Environmental Research Center in Cincinnati, OH. The anticipated date for release of the Solicitation RFQ-OH-16-00184 is on or about July 21, 2016. Responses must be submitted through Fedconnect not later than August 5, 2016 in order to be considered by EPA. Anticipated award date shall be August 12, 2016.
