- The U.S. Census Bureau intends to procure lodging in the Washington Metropolitan Area. Lodging is required for 50 participants for the Federal-State Cooperative for Population Estimates (FSCPE) and the FSCPE Steering Committee Meetings on the following dates: • Sunday, September 25, 2016 - 7 sleeping rooms • Monday, September 26, 2016 - 50 sleeping rooms • Tuesday, September 27, 2016 - 50 sleeping rooms • Wednesday, September 28, 2016 - 50 sleeping rooms • Thursday, September 29, 2016 - 7 sleeping rooms The accommodations must have the following: • Metro Accessibility (within one block of the metro station) • Full Service Restaurant The U.S. Census Bureau reserves the right to conduct an on-site inspection of offered facilities. Award will be made on a best value basis in accordance with the Simplified Acquisition Procedures. Lodging must be at FedRooms rate, less than or equal to the Government per diem rate. All responsible sources that can meet the requirements and provide items as listed above may respond to this solicitation by submitting cost and technical proposal, hotel contract, and descriptive literature to Lisa Safewright via email to lisa.r.safewright@census.gov. All correspondance, i.e. Questions, Proposals, etc. should have the RFQ# LRS-09-2530-16 in the subject line. All vendors who submit a proposal must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) and provide DUNS# with proposal. Award will be made by Government Purchase Order. Closing date for receipt of proposals is Friday, July 08, 2016.
