- See attached SOW The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Corona Division, is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having an interest in and the resources to the requirements for the performance and delivery of PROGRAMMABLE DC POWER SUPPLY & SOLAR ARRAY SIMULATOR. For specifications please see attached Statement of Work. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for proposals; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. This requirement is brand name or equal. FAR 11.104 Use of brand name or equal purchase descriptions. Brand name or equal purchase descriptions must include, in addition to the brand name, a general description of those salient physical, functional, or performance characteristics of the brand name item that an "equal" item must meet to be acceptable for award. Use brand name or equal descriptions when the salient characteristics are firm requirements. BASED ON THE RESPONSES TO THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE/MARKET RESEARCH, THIS REQUIREMENT MAY BE SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESSES OR PROCURED THROUGH FULL AND OPEN COMPETITION.
