- Sources Sought The government intends to award a sole-source, firm fixed priced contract to SEMCO Inc. This procurement is commercial item IAW FAR Part 13. No solicitation will be issued but responsible sources may submit inquiries or request for information to caleb.foster@navy.mil or by phone at 951-393-4490. THE GOVERNMENT INTENDS TO SOLICIT AND NEGOTIATE WITH ONLY ONE SOURCE UNDER THE AUTHORITY OF FAR 6.302-1 FOR THIS PROCURMENT ACTION. INTERESTED PARTIES MAY IDENTIFY THEIR INTEREST AND CAPABILITY TO RESPOND TO THE REQUIREMENT, OR SUBMIT CAPABILITY STATEMENTS. THIS NOTICE OF INTEREST IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES OR PROPOSALS. •1.0 INTRODUCTION The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Performance Assessment Department, Code PA44 requires 1 SEMCO PTRS108 Portable Telemetry Simulator used on Advanced Telemetry Systems (ATS) in support of missile testing for various RDT&E projects. The SEMCO Portable Simulator is an integral component of our advanced shipboard telemetry systems. This SEMCO Telemetry Simulator will be used to calibrate telemetry equipment and perform system readiness testing in support of live missile firings. This SEMCO Telemetry Simulator is used in the performance and readiness assessment of Fleet combat systems. •2.0 BACKGROUND The NSWC Telemetry Systems Branch (PA44) facility at Corona has a requirement to support the missile testing for RDT&E projects beginning immediately. In order to meet this requirement, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Corona Division, Performance Assessment Department, Code PA44 requires the SEMCO PTRS108 Portable Telemetry Simulator listed in the specifications to be fully integrated by July 2016 on the Advanced Telemetry Systems. The items listed in this SOW are a hard requirement in order to successfully execute the missions on the schedule for this project. 3.0 SPECIFICATIONS CLIN P/N DESCRIPTION Qty 1 PTRS108 PORTABLE TELEMETRY SIMULATOR SHIPPING 1 1 The SEMCO PTRS108 Portable Telemetry Simulator as a component of Advanced Telemetry Systems (ATS) is required to meet or exceeds the following requirements: TECHNICAL DETAILS: PTRS108 - Frequency Range: 1415 to 2485 MHz - Output Signal Level: +10 to -100 dBm - Modulations: PCM/FM, PM, BPSK, QPSK, SOQPSK-TG and Multi-h CPM Modulation - PN Pattern Generation - File Playback - External Modulation Capability - Touch Screen Controls - Embedded non-Windows Processor - SGCMS Network SW - 12 VDC rechargeable battery DISCLAIMER: THIS SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY.
