Description

The Altoona - James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center intends to award a firm-fixed price sole source procurement to Xenex Disinfection Services LLC for the Pulsed Xenon UV Disinfection System and Maintenance at the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center, in Altoona, PA. This is a one-time equipment buy, in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 - Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. If a firm believes it can provide a non-mercury Disinfection System that will meet the requirements, it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, by 5:00PM (EST) July 27, 2016. Information must be sent to Joseph D. Early, Contract Specialist, VAPHS, 1010 Delafield Road, Aspinwall, PA 15215 or Email. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. If no responses are received, the James E. Van Zandt VA Medical Center will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Xenex Disinfection Services LLC. See attached document: Limited Sources Justification.
