- The Association of Universities for Research in Astronomy, Inc. (AURA) is soliciting proposals for a General Contractor to construct and deliver a "turn-key" Remote Office Building (ROB) for the Daniel K. Inouye Solar Telescope. The proposed ROB will be located in Pukalani, Maui, Hawaii. Firms currently holding valid contractor's licenses in the State of Hawai‘i are invited to bid. The scope of this work includes the site development, construction, and commissioning for the ROB per the AURA-supplied architect's drawings. AURA is seeking proposals from qualified firms who are interested in bidding on the above effort. All documentation relating to this solicitation will be available for download at: http://dkist.nso.edu/contracts/rob-gc-rfp All submissions MUST be received not later than 3:00PM MST, Friday, September 2, 2016. Parties not following the "Instructions to Bidders" or submitting incomplete packages may have their proposals summarily rejected.
