- The Department of Veterans Affairs Network Contracting Office (NCO 2) intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Philips Healthcare, 22100 Bothell Everett Highway, Bothell, WAS 98021-8431 for support services to include full maintenance and repair services for various Philips Healthcare medical imaging equipment. The Philips Healthcare systems are the Intera 1.5T Power, Integris V5000, Allura Xper DF10, Brilliance CT Big Bore Oncology, Allura Xper FD20 and iE33 at the Stratton Albany VAMC, 113 Holland Avenue, Albany, NY 12208-3410. Philips Healthcare is the only FSS vendor capable of providing preventive maintenance service, parts, OEM trained technicians and on-call emergency services. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 8.405-6 Limited Source Justification Approval and no other vendor will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available and telephone requests will not be accepted. However any firm that believes it can meet these requirements may give written notification to the Contracting Officer by July 15, 2016 at 2:00 PM EST. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Contracting Officer, Richard Williams, by email to richard.williams18@va.gov. TELEPHONIC INQUIRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED. Responses received will be evaluated however; a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, NCO 2 will proceed with the sole source negotiation with Philips Healthcare.
