- Description
- The U.S. Government is seeking sources who are able to supply non-Motorola substitutes for Motorola DM4600, SLR5500 and DP4601 radios, for a Foreign Military Assistance case in Cameroon. Counter-poaching organizations in Cameroon currently have Motorola radios but will consider acquisition of non-Motorola radios if they can be substituted one for one for existing Motorola devices, can fully interoperate with the existing Motorola radios, and have the same user interface as existing Motorola radios so that retraining is not necessary. Venders and manufactures able to meet the above requirements are invited to send a short statement of capability to the U. S. Government contact listed. The response may include equipment data sheets, and should address the ability of the proposed non-Motorola radios to be form, fit, and function compatible with Cameroon's existing assets. Please submit all responses to the email address provided below no later than 11 July 2016 This is a SOURCES SOUGHT MARKET SURVEY. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUESTS FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. Any information submitted by respondents to this synopsis is strictly voluntary. This market survey does not constitute a Request for Proposals (RFP) or a request for sealed bids (IFB), nor does its issuance restrict the Government as to its ultimate acquisition approach. The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this notice, nor pay respondents for any information that they submit in response to this Sources Sought request. The United States Army CECOM LCMC is conducting this sources sought market survey to determine potential sources capable of fulfilling a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement.
