Description

The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to modify a lease contract with ETSU Ventures, 6225 Carmel Rd., Charlotte, NC. 28226, to increase reserved parking spaces from 100 parking spaces to 180 parking spaces. The parking facility is located at 1109 University Parkway, Johnson City, TN. 37604. The additional parking spaces are immediately required for use by the Department of VA employees, visitors and contractors. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. No solicitation document exists and no telephone inquiries will be accepted. However, interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement by providing written notification to the contracting officer within seven (7) calendar days from the date of publication of this notice (4:30pm CST., July 13, 2016). Information may be sent to Angela Bailey at angela.bailey5@va.gov. A determination by the Government not to compete the proposed modification to contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. This notice does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it restrict the Government's ultimate approach.
